Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Scientific and Organising Committees, it is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to the International Shoulder Safari to be held in Israel in November 2018.

This stimulating, week long, scientific ‘shoulder safari’ will consist of high level debates and case discussions with the option of touring and visiting Israel.

Although small in size, Israel is abundant in fascinating archaeological and Biblical sites.  Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethlehem, Masada, Tiberias, Acre, Jaffa, Sea of Galilee, are just a few of the places where remnants of ancient times are just a short ride or walk from vibrant cities.

Israel's rich history of over 3000 years includes the Canaanite, Kingdoms of Judah and Israel, Persian, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine Empires, Islamic, Crusader, Mamluk, Ottoman and British periods.  Artifacts and architecture were left behind from each of these times, from which we can learn a great deal.

The scientific programme will consist of high level debates and case discussions, focusing on state of the art techniques and procedures in shoulder surgery, involving panel members and audience participation. In this unique meeting all delegates are faculty, and there will be plenty of space for fruitful discussions. We look forward to exciting dialogues and debates.

We look forward to welcoming you to the International ‘Shoulder Safari’ in Israel, scheduled to take place November 11-18, 2018.
