LETTER OF INVITATION
Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal invitation. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants in raising travel funds or obtaining a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizers.
CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
Daytime Israel temperatures are very pleasant; around 60-70F (15-25C) degrees in most of the country. Dead Sea/Mitzpe Ramon will be hotter and Jerusalem will be colder. There may be rain, so bring an umbrella and waterproof shoes.
Clothing is informal for all occasions.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Foreign guests, prior to booking your flight ticket, please ensure that your passport is valid. Participants from some countries require a visa to enter Israel. We suggest that you check this with your travel agent or on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Direct flights exist from most major airports in North America, Europe, India, China, Thailand and Africa, by El Al Israel Airlines as well as by other international carriers. It is recommended to book your international air travel to/from Ben Gurion International Airport (Tel Aviv) with your local travel agent and/or on the internet.
2. ARRIVAL - GROUND TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN TEL AVIV BEN GURION INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND JERUSALEM
Taxi Service – The cost for a one-way trip is approximately US$88, depending on time of day and number of pieces of luggage. The trip should take approximately 40-60 minutes depending on time of day.
Nesher shared transfer service is available from Ben-Gurion Airport. There may be a waiting time as the driver only departs when there are 10 passengers.
Rate per person: NIS 70 – approximately US$ 20. There is a “Nesher” information desk at the airport.
3. DEPARTURE - GROUND TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN TEL AVIV AND TEL AVIV BEN GURION INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Taxi Service – The cost for a one-way trip is approximately NIS 150, depending on time of day and number of pieces of luggage. The trip should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on time of day.
Train - There are 4 train stops within Tel Aviv. The cost of a one-way trip is NIS 13.5 and it takes 10-20 minuntes depending on the departure station. Click here to check the train schedules.
Personal travel, luggage and health insurance are recommended. Please purchase this from your local travel agent. Kindly note the organizers and other sponsors cannot be responsible for participants lacking appropriate insurance coverage. All tours are booked on the express condition that Target Conferences shall not be held responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury or accident, to any person or his or her luggage or any other property, for any reason whatsoever.
